BREAKING – At least 4 dead?

Authorities in West Bloomfield, Michigan rushed to the scene Thursday after a terrifying incident unfolded at the Temple Israel synagogue complex, where a vehicle reportedly rammed into the building before gunfire erupted.

Witnesses described scenes of panic as emergency vehicles flooded the area and thick smoke rose from the site. Initial reports suggest the vehicle may have caught fire after crashing into the synagogue building.

Police and federal authorities quickly surrounded the complex while officers moved to neutralize the attacker. According to early information from local officials, the suspect was confronted by security personnel at the location.

Children Reportedly Safe
The synagogue complex houses an early childhood center, raising immediate concerns for the safety of dozens of children who were inside the facility at the time of the attack.

Authorities later confirmed that the children present at the school were secured and protected during the incident, preventing what could have become a much larger tragedy.

Heavy Emergency Response
Police, firefighters, and emergency medical crews rushed to the scene as investigators began securing the area and examining the burned vehicle. Several first responders were also evaluated for injuries, including smoke inhalation.

Law enforcement agencies are now working to determine the motive behind the attack and whether the suspect acted alone. Federal investigators are assisting local authorities as the investigation continues.

Investigation Underway
Officials say the situation developed rapidly, but security personnel at the synagogue acted quickly to stop the attacker before more people could be harmed.

Authorities are asking residents to avoid the area while investigators continue gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.

This remains a developing story and updates are expected as more information becomes available.
