PART 2: “Hey! What are you doing?!” the woman shouted.

The wheelchair jolted hard. Chairs scraped. Glasses rattled. Guests gasped and stood halfway from their seats.

“Hey! What are you doing?!” the woman shouted.

The camera snapped to the boy’s face. Thin cheeks. Dirty oversized shirt. Hungry eyes burning with purpose.

He looked up at her and said urgently:

“Don’t fight me. Just try.”

The terrace froze.

No one moved.

The boy pressed one of her feet firmly to the ground. The woman tried to pull back… then suddenly stopped breathing.

“Wait…” she whispered.

Her toes had moved.

She stared downward in disbelief.

“…I felt that.”

Somewhere behind them, a fork hit the floor.

The silence became heavier than noise.

The boy tightened his grip and began pulling her forward out of the wheelchair. Guests stood fully now, watching like they were witnessing something impossible.

Her legs trembled violently. Fear and shock took over her face.

Then the boy looked straight into her eyes.

No fear in him now. Only pain.

“My mama said…” he whispered.

The woman froze completely. Color drained from her face.

The boy’s voice cracked as he said the final words:

“…you stood the day you left us.”

The woman rose halfway from the wheelchair without realizing it.

Gasps erupted across the terrace.

And from the street behind them, a man’s voice suddenly shouted:

“Lena… is that our son?”
